Can you remember the last time you were sick and unable to schedule an appointment at your doctor's office? All too often, patients in need of non-life threatening medical attention end up in the emergency room. These patients are then treated in an emergency care setting when they could be treated more appropriately within their medical practice.

In addition to AppUrgent Care, ARHS has implemented same-day access for patients at The Cardiology Center in Boone, NC; Baker Center for Primary Care in Linville, NC; and Appalachian Regional Internal Medical Specialists in Boone, NC.
