Nominate a Nurse for a Daisy Award
The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses recognizes the super-human efforts nurses perform for patients and families everyday. DAISY Nurses at ARHS exemplify extraordinary compassionate care and clinical expertise.
Each quarter, ARHS will recognize a nurse who has been nominated as showing the following exemplary qualities:
- Clinical Expertise
- Compassionate Care
- Extraordinary Service
- Continued Commitment to Excellence
The not-for-profit DAISY Foundation was established by family members in memory of J. Patrick Barnes, who died at the age of 33 in 1999 from an auto-immune disease. The care Patrick and his family received from nurses while he was ill inspired this unique means of thanking nurses for making a profound difference in the lives of their patients and patient families.
