Originally a Central Florida native, Christina and her husband moved to North Carolina in 2019 to continue her passion with cardiology in the mountains. After attending University of Central Florida for her undergraduate and graduate degrees, Christina worked at Orlando Regional Medical Center for almost 9 years in cardiology, both as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner.
Coming from the large trauma hospital in Florida, she gained much experience in atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, chest pain evaluations, and more. She received multiple awards for her excellence in nursing, and was nominated Central Florida Nurse of the Year. Her love for her cardiac patients continues here at The Cardiology Center.
Christina and her husband have a love for the outdoors and hike any chance they get. They especially enjoy spotting wildlife on their long treks in the wilderness. With them you will usually find their very energetic and happy standard poodle, Maverick. If not in the outdoors, you may spot her and her husband sipping coffee at the local coffee shops in town
