Originally from the Smokey Mountain region of East Tennessee, Dr. Damon DeLeon received his undergraduate degree from Maryville College and his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Virginia and Brown University respectively.
Specializing in Psychiatry, his clinical interests include mood disorders, psychotic disorders and anxiety disorders. Prior to joining the Appalachian Regional Behavioral Health team, Dr. DeLeon practiced adult and adolescent psychiatry at the Medical Center of Aurora in Aurora, Colorado. He also served as a core faculty member for HealthONE Rocky Vista University Psychiatry Residency.
Dr. DeLeon also enjoys hiking, traveling and gardening.
