Jeremy Freitas earned his undergraduate degree in biology with an emphasis in physiology from California State University Long Beach. Working as an aide in the physical therapy department while in school, he realized his passion for the study of the musculoskeletal system and decided to further his education. Jeremy moved to North Carolina and completed his masters degree in health science and physician assistant studies at Duke University. He has been working in orthopedics as a physician assistant since 2012 and has experience with joint replacement surgery. Outside of work, he enjoys watching baseball with the goal of visiting and seeing a game at each major league stadium.
