Paul Saconn, MD is a radiation oncologist at the Seby B. Jones Cancer Center, a part of Watauga Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology, and has experience in treating all cancers for which radiotherapy is used.
Dr. Saconn grew up in Burlington, North Carolina. He completed his undergraduate degree at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and worked for over a decade in the field of counseling and social services. He received his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, and then completed residency training at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. His focus is to provide excellent care to his patients by offering personalized, evidence-based medicine in a way that each patient feels like a VIP.
Outside of work, Dr. Saconn enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and two children. He and his family love the outdoors and particularly the mountains and coast of North Carolina.
