Shayne Squires, MD, graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle in 2000 and completed residencies in internal medicine and nuclear medicine at the University of Iowa. He was a cardiovascular fellow at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

Over the past several years, Dr. Squires has been working in the rural Appalachia community of Georgia. He is thrilled to join the growing cardiology program of The Heart & Vascular Center of Watauga Medical Center.

Most of Dr. Squires’ free time is spent with his family, with whom he enjoys outdoor activities.
