Stephanie Johnson, NP-C, is a nurse practitioner at Seby B. Jones Regional Cancer Center, a member of Appalachian Regional Healthcare System. Stephanie is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has more than 10 years of experience in oncology and hematology as a registered nurse, prior to receiving her nurse practitioner certification.
Stephanie grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, and completed her undergraduate degree in nursing at Our Lady of the Lake College in 2003. During her career as a registered nurse, Stephanie primarily worked in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at both Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Stephanie earned her graduate degree in nursing as a Primary Care Family Nurse Practitioner from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in 2016.
When not at work, she spends time with her husband and dogs. Stephanie and her husband, Chad, relocated to North Carolina in 2019 to join the Appalachian Regional Healthcare System family and to be closer to their family in Boone. Stephanie enjoys hiking, swimming and live music
