Dr. Bishop grew up in Florida and studied biological chemistry and economics at Florida Atlantic University in Jupiter, FL. He graduated medical school at the University of Miami. He completed his residency in general psychiatry and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at UNC Chapel Hill. Dr. Bishop has been in practice since 2015.
He enjoys running, hiking, camping, and ACC sports. He is an aspiring gardener. Although he only came to the High Country in 2020, he has dreamed of living in Western NC since he was a child.

Ivy received her Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Ivy continued her education at Maryville University in St. Louis, MO, where she completed a post-master’s graduate certificate in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
Ivy has a special clinical interest in adolescent and young adult behavioral health and substance use disorders. In addition to inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, Ivy has completed various rotations in pediatrics, OBGYN, and family medicine.
Outside of work, Ivy enjoys spending time with her husband, five children, and their two dogs, one cat, and many saltwater fish. In her free time, Ivy loves vacationing with her family, being active, hiking, running, reading, cooking, spending time at the lake, and enjoying nature.
Ivy and her husband love the High Country because of its relaxed “feel,” beautiful weather, and active community.
In practice since 2000, Ella is a native of Avery County, NC and loves working in the community where she was born and raised. She received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Political Science from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1993, and a B.S. in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD in 1996. She received her Masters degree in Nursing from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2000, and a post-Masters Certification in Psych/Mental Health Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in 2019. She is board certified in both Family Practice and Psychiatric-Mental Health.

After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas, Dr. Quattlebaum completed his medical school training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Studies. Dr. Quattlebaum completed his residency at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and he has a special clinical interest in inpatient psychiatry, collaborative care, university mental health, and medical education.
Dr. Quattlebaum chose Boone and Appalachian Regional Healthcare System (ARHS) because he loves our community and the atmosphere of both Boone and ARHS. Dr. Quattlebaum enjoys being outdoors, sports, and traveling in his free time.
