Charles G. Miller, MD, FACS received his medical training at the University of North Carolina and his specialty training in urology at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill. He has been a practicing urologist at Boone Urology Center since 1991. Dr. Miller is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr Marinakis is a urologic surgeon at Boone Urology. He joined the practice in 2004. He grew up in eastern North Carolina. He completed his undergraduate degree in Pre-professional Biology at Appalachian State University, and then entered into the military as an officer and AH64 Apache Pilot. He retired from the Military in 2018 after serving for 30 years. He completed a Master’s of Science in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and Medical School at East Carolina University. He completed his residency in Urology at Geisinger Medical Center.
Dr. Marinakis practices general adult and pediatric urology, but has clinical interests in complex stone management, incontinence, BPH and men’s health. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urologic Association, North Carolina Urologic Association, and Society of Government Service Urologists. He is a former member of the Society of US Army Flight Surgeons.
Outside of his clinical practice, he enjoys fishing with his sons and hiking with his wife and two dogs.
Tony M. Schlake, MD, FACS, received his medical training at Wright State University, Boonshoft School of Medicine and his specialty training in urology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, KY. He also completed a fellowship in endourology and general urology at North Shore Hospital District Health Board in Auckland, New Zealand in 2013. He joined Boone Urology Center in January 2014.
