Obstetrics, Gynecology & Midwifery

Harmony, Center for Women's Health and Vitality is an exciting new approach to caring for women in the High Country, one that we have not seen before in this area. By offering a full array of services for women of all ages, Harmony can meet the needs of the woman throughout her life cycle, and make life better for women in the High Country.

 

Watauga Medical Center Marchese Birthing Center - (828) 265-5029

The Marchese Birthing Center at Watauga Medical Center provides spacious rooms designed to resemble a bedroom at home and offers midwifery services as well. The Marchese Birthing Center consists of nine LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum) rooms, a C-section suite and nurseries.

Childbirth classes are offered to help prepare patients for childbirth. Classes are six-weeks long and cover several topics including what to expect during labor & delivery, the hospital experience and pain control strategies for labor.

Lymphedema, Osteoporosis, Incontenence, Pelvic Pain & Dysfunction

The Rehabilitation Center - (828) 268-9043

The Rehabilitation Center offers an array of direct care services designed to meet the outpatient rehabilitation needs of our community. We have two locations to serve our patients. Patients are provided with customized, therapeutic interventions to meet their individual needs. The unique locations allow patients access to the Wellness Center and YMCA's strength and conditioning equipment and pools - providing a continuum of care from acute care to wellness programming.


3D Mammography & Breast Care

The Breast Center - (828) 262-4151

The Wilma Redmond Breast Center of ARHS is located in the recently renovated Outpatient Imaging and Lab Center at 1200 State Farm Road in Boone, NC. The Breast Center offers Hologic 3D Mammography for breast cancer screening. 3D mammography produces a three-dimensional view of the breast tissue that helps radiologists identify and characterize individual breast structures without the confusion of overlapping tissue.
