Appalachian Regional Healthcare System’s Behavioral Health Services include an outpatient clinic in Linville, as well as a 10-bed inpatient behavioral health unit located at Cannon Memorial Hospital. The outpatient behavioral health program is designed to meet the needs of adults, children and families experiencing a variety of problematic behaviors, thoughts and life patterns. We work to improve emotional stability and increase general functioning, as well as help clients identify, develop and increase the use of effective coping skills by emphasizing the existing strengths of the individual or family system.
Telehealth is now available for outpatient behavioral health. You may be able to visit with your healthcare provider from the safety of your own home! Call (828) 737-7888 or request an appointment online to schedule an appointment. No referral needed.
