The Davant Medical Clinic is committed to providing the finest quality, evidence-based medical care available. Family Medicine and Pediatrics: Dr. Gregory Price provides comprehensive care for adults and children 6 years and older, including preventive care, vaccinations, school/sports physicals, sickness or injury, and more. Our providers work with you to ensure that your family’s medical needs are met. We also include you in decision making and take responsibility for your ongoing care. From your child or adolescent, and throughout your adult years, we are truly your medical home in Blowing Rock.
Gynecology and Women’s Health: Dr. Cecilia Grasinger and Heidi Robertson, FNP, provide gynecology and women’s health services. They work closely with the obstetrics providers and midwives at Harmony Center for Women. Davant Medical Clinic meets a woman’s needs throughout her life cycle, ranging from well-women care to complex medical and surgical management of gynecological disorders.

MAHEC Boone Rural Family Medicine Residency
The MAHEC Boone Rural Family Medicine Residency Program, located at Watauga Medical Center, and AppFamily Medicine is a partnership between ARHS and Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) and will also serve as a clinical training site for medical students from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Health Navigation
If you are a patient of one of the Appalachian Regional Medical Associates practices, and are being discharged from Watauga Medical Center or Cannon Memorial Hospital, you may receive a call from the Health Navigation Team to assist you in getting follow up care with your primary care provider. Medicare Annual Wellness Visit
Medicare Part B covers a yearly visit to a healthcare provider at no cost to you to help prevent disease and disability. At this appointment, you and your provider will discuss your current health and risk factors and develop a personalized prevention plan to help you stay healthy.
