Dr. Courtney Damian is a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist. Born and raised in the mountains of Colorado, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado in Boulder with dual degrees in Spanish Literature and Molecular/Cellular/Developmental Biology. She then completed medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, where she pursued a dedicated curriculum track in Women’s Health and was elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Damian went on to complete her residency at the University of Texas Southwestern at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas, where she gained broad experience in high-risk obstetrics, gynecologic surgery, and preventative care.

Dr. Damian moved to the High Country in 2019, providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care at Harmony Center for Women. In 2023, she was appointed Medical Director of Obstetrics to oversee the hospital-based OBGYN physician practice. In this role, she provides advanced care in labor and delivery, emergency care including emergency surgery, and triage services for all obstetric and gynecologic patients at Watauga Medical Center. She works collaboratively with the midwife and family medicine providers when consultation, surgical procedures, or a higher level of care is needed in labor, birth, or postpartum. She also continues to consult for high-risk prenatal patients at Harmony Center for Women.

When not at work, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her husband, Tom, and young son, Max.
