Originally from Charlotte NC, Nicole DeWese, FNP moved to Boone to get her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Appalachian State University where she graduated cum laude in 2014. After graduation, she worked as a nurse at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir, NC on the telemetry unit for 4 years. There, she fell in love with cardiac care and decided to further her education and go back to school for her masters. Nicole graduated in 2019 from East Tennessee State University with her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree.
Nicole and her husband enjoy any and everything outdoors. They can be found skiing in the winter and hiking with their yellow lab, Doug, in the summer.
